Welcome to a week long day's website. WLD is a Rock Band based in West Chicago, IL, and surrounding areas. WLD was formed in May 2004 by Guitarist/Vocalist Drew Fortson and Drummer Aaron Wilson. WLD has spent its summer, creating, perfecting, and performing their material in hopes to establish a local fan base; as well as releasing their first EP Demo CD in late July.

One of which being at the 602 North Club in Glendale Heights, IL. We have just landed our second live show as a band. Details are a little hazy at this point, but we will be playing a house party with Silent Glory on November 13th. Also, there are 2 new pictures from the Wheaton Show, when Drew sang a song with the band 'The Dying Moment'. Oh yes, and for all of you have been dying to hear our music, but have not gotten a hold of our Demo...it will soon be available to Stream or to Download via PureVolume.com...Go to the Music Section and Click the Link...'Fred's Slacks is a Winner!'

This is the first, of hopefully many, journal entries. Anyways, Thanks to everyone who came out to see us in Wheaton the other night. We had so much fun playing our first show as a band again, for you all. Aaron left yesterday to go back to Ohio for school...it was sad but keep looking back here for updates. As of now, we are working on a few shows to come home to this fall. Maybe October...who knows...
