aweeklongday

A Week Long Day was formed in May 2004, with its two founding members, Drew Fortson and Aaron Wilson. The following summer months consisted of creation and collaboration between the two aspiring musicians. Drew started creating early WLD material in his dorm room at Taylor University, in fall 2003; and as the prospect of creating a band became more of a reality, there was really only one person that Drew wanted as the bands drummer.

Aaron Wilson, a third year Drum and Percussion Major at Cedarville University, began playing drums seriously in Highschool with his band 'General Tao'; which Drew also played Bass Guitar for at the time. Together, combining Aaron's love for syncopated and off-beat rock patterns with Drew's Punk and Emo influences, they have created a fused version of rock/punk/emo-core music. This summer's aspirations will culminate with their first show as WLD, August 21st at the Wheaton Grand Theater......
